The Boot Camp
The CMA Medical Student and Resident Boot Camp is a 4-day intensive experience of prayer, study, practical training, and mentoring with CMA physician members, designed to help students:
- Survive as faithful Catholics
- Organize within medical schools, residency programs and localities to support one another
- Evangelize their peers, both Catholic and non-Catholic.
This year’s event takes place June 16-21 at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The format for each day included Mass and prayers from the Liturgy of the Hours, a mix of lectures with Q&A, role-playing, and small group discussions, guest speakers, and socials. Clinical topics were explored in the light of the Catholic faith, theology, ethics, and spirituality.
