Simon Walley, BA, MCPM, has been working with MaterCare International alongside his father, Dr. Robert Walley, since 2000, beginning as Public Engagement Coordinator responsible for promoting MaterCare and its projects related to maternal health in developing countries. Over the years, his responsibilities included fundraising, public awareness, volunteer coordination, initiating, editing and producing resource material, organizing international conferences and preparing national and international proposals and budgets.
Simon graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland where he majored in Political Science & History. In 2008, he completed a Masters Certificate Program in Project Management.
Simon was selected as Executive Director in the summer of 2020.
