Father Vítor Feytor Pinto died, aged 89, TVI confirmed to a source in the Patriarchate of Lisbon.
Feytor Pinto died this morning, at Hospital da Luz, in Lisbon, said Campo Grande Parish.
He was for so many a generous friend, a companion on the journey, a profound and happy priest and a man of thought who leaves an extraordinary legacy. We miss them a lot, but we know that he looks out for us, involved in the ‘wonderful tenderness of God who welcomes us’”, writes Father Hugo Gonçalves, on behalf of the parish.
Father Feytor Pinto was responsible for the parish of Campo Grande and coordinated, for several years, the Pastoral da Saúde in Portugal.
He was National and Diocesan Assistant of the Catholic Association of Nurses and Health Professionals (ACEPS), Diocesan Assistant of Catholic Doctors and Diocesan Assistant of the World Association of the Federation of Catholic Doctors (FIAMC), in addition to being founder of the Movement for the Defense of Life , in Lisbon.
