This week’s III Young Catholic Doctors International Meeting, held during the World Youth Days 2023 in Lisbon, was a great succes!
The Symposium, on Wednesday, August 2nd in the afternoon had as theme: “Stand Up and Go” (Luke 17:19) and welcomed medical students, young doctors, other young health care workers and enthusiasts, but also high school students wanting to enroll in medical school.
The meeting was fully booked and there is still people outside: more than over than 200 people.
Objectives
– Introduce participants to the F.I.A.M.C. and to Societas Lucae
– Share experiences about the challenges of being a Catholic medical student or a young catholic doctor around the world.

– Benedita Pacheco de Carvalho (medical student from the Portuguese Catholic Doctors Association)
