Cebu

A total of 183 delegates coming from 13 archdioceses and dioceses converged in Cebu for the Regional Healing Congress last July 29-30, 2023. It carries the theme, “Healing thru the Synodality of Soul and Body”.Given emphasis during the two day event was revisiting Creation and the purpose of man in this world particularly the composition the human body as explained in the medical science and the presence of the human soul as explained by theology. Also discussed by speakers is the relationship between sin and illnesses which afflicted man.

The speakers were three priests including an exorcist, a lay brother, a psychiatrist and Dr. Rene Josef Bullecer of the Catholic Physicians Guild of the Philippines who served as the main speaker, discussant and organizer of the event.The participants went home after the event bringing with them the enhanced knowledge on the subjects discussed.

Mindanao

This two day event attended by 184 delegates from across Mindanao (located in the southern part of the Philippines) was organized by prolife physicians with the aimed of updating the participants on the current different types of lifestyle illnesses and diseases which affected even among the Filipinos.

Also given due emphasis during the event was the preventive measures on how to live healthier and longer.

Aside from health issues, another topic which was given big chunk of the time was the topic on life. Two speakers presented the current global population decline side-by-side with the many depopulation measures and programs being implemented across the globe. These topics created the most needed awareness to the participants who did not realized the dangerous impact to the Church, the economy and human existence as a whole.
