Analise D Mello MBBS, MS obgyn, DNB

Amen, I say to you, among those born of womenthere has been none greater than John the Baptist;yet the least in the Kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

John the baptist description was always that of a rebel..he ate locusts and honey and lived in the wilderness .. yelling about the Lord on top of His lungs ! Very inspiring but equally difficult to even imagine !

As Christmas approaches, I miss home more than ever, the decorations and the lighting is far less jn this part of the country and my hospital doesn’t really try to do much, so I volunteered to decorative out patient clinical and in the midst of all my chaos.

I know my daily prayer has got limited to an app talking about the advent on my drive to work. It is frustrating but I am preoccupied by another and this season calls us to prepare our hearts and souls to each other. I know it’s going to be tough not bring dragged into the consumerism of the season but as catholics let’s all be rebellious like Dt John the baptist a c gocudpn being better !!!

Amen.
