The Croatian Catholic Medical Society (HKLD) was founded on February 16, 1991 in the Monastery of the Jesuit Fathers in Palmotićeva Street in Zagreb. The first president of HKLD was prim. Dr. Margarita Peraica, and the first spiritual assistant Msgr. Dr. Valentin Pozaić.
In the same hall where the Society was founded, which is now used as a place of worship, on February 16, 2021, with a mass celebration led by Msgr. Valentin Pozaić celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Company.
The photos and memories have faded, but the pride remains that we were able to realize the ideas of the founders of the Society, which the young generations will continue to build for the benefit of humanity.
Congratulations on the 33rd birthday of the Croatian Catholic Medical Association!
Assoc. prof. Ph.D. Rok Čivljak, MD.
President of the Croatian Catholic Medical Association
