Many are invited, but few are chosen

As the protests intensify around the death and demands for justice soar, we stood protesting for 2 days in the sun and rain, shouting our slogans and holding placards. I have never felt this urge to scream and ask for my basic rights as a citizen as a woman and as a doctor….

We spoke our hearts out and cried loud for the death of that innocent trainee doctor , like one of us who was doing her duty. We mourn her death and are demnanding speedy justice which seems to take ages as she its been more than 10 days since teh gruesome incident.

What upsets me more is how can any human do this to another person.

Have we lost our humanity?? Have we turned into monsters? what rage must one have to hurt another human so much!

While we read about the king inviting everyone for a meal. I realize we are all called to gods kingdom – with love and patience He waits for us .. and we like the people in the parable, turn away and resort to our evil measures. how can one we ignore this love and faith and move away baffles me — cause maybe we think we are immortal and this is the all and all of our lives. We forget we need the love of Christ in our lives!

let us look forward to the inivitaion in our lives and accept it as the meal to eternal life!

AMEN

P.S. Pray for speedy justice for the case and ensure all women in your lives are safe and happy
