Jesus is born for a humanity searching for freedom and peace;he is born for everyone burdened by sin,in need of salvation, and yearning for hope.’- Pope John Paul II, Homily 24 Dec, 2002—–/////—- CMA National ConferenceMelbourne, October 18th 2025Wishing a very happy and holy Christmas to all CMA members, family and friends. “It is the very essence of a festival that it breaks upon one brilliantly and abruptly, that at one moment the great day is not and the next moment the great day is.” (Chesterton, All Things Considered). However, as many “will go on observing forms that cannot be explained; they will keep Christmas Day with Christmas gifts and Christmas benedictions; they will continue to do it; and some day suddenly wake up and discover why.” (Chesterton, On Christmas). Fortunately, we as Catholic know why. As a reminder we have included some reflections from the Apostle of Commonsense G.K Chesterton in this final edition for the year as well as some Nativity art from around the world.———————— //———————– In local news….We express our condolences to the family and friends of the Hon.
