The Pontifical John Paul II Institute conference: Meaning and Purpose in Medicine
The Pontifical John Paul II Institute is pleased to announce an upcoming conference: Meaning and Purpose in Medicine, taking place on October 6-7, 2017, in Winona, MN
Co-sponsored by Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and the Catholic Medical Association (Diocese of Winona Guild), the conference will address topics including: the meaning of medicine as a vocation; the meaning of human work; the effects of burn-out on physicians and their patients; and the origins of modern medicine in faith. Physicians from the Mayo Clinic will join faculty from Saint Mary’s University and the John Paul II Institute in the discussions.
Healthcare workers attending the conference can earn 7 CME/MOC credits.
