“TWO DOCTORS AND THEIR FOUR YOUNG CHILDREN START A MISSION IN UGANDA”

Following the birth of their fourth child, Doctors Robyn and Brian Jennings, who had already served in Ghana and Honduras, have now embarked, with their four little children in tow, on a new mission, serving at Karoli Lwanga Hospital in Uganda. Robyn notes, “Serving on medical missions feels like a direct response to Christ’s call to love and serve the poor. We hope to follow his example in everything we do…We hope our children witness firsthand what it means to make decisions based on faith.”

While some might wonder about the challenges of starting a mission with such young children, Robyn finds that these challenges create opportunities for connection. “People are drawn to the kids. James, our four-month-old, get lots of cuddles, and Sophia, who is four, has become a celebrity! The community embraces our family, and the spiritual benefits far outweigh any potential drawbacks. Honestly, we have more family time here, and our lives feel simpler.”
