As an opening salvo for the new year, an event was held last January 13, 2024, Saturday at the Holiday Plaza Hotel in Cebu City, Philippines. It carried the event theme, “When God Gets Angry”.

Hundreds of participants, mostly lay leaders and para medical professionals were in attendance. The main objective of the event was for people to grasp  both the mercy of the Almighty God and the kind of punishments He inflicts upon the people who go against His laws abd commands.

The main speaker, Dr. Rene Josef Bullecer of the Catholic Physicians Guild of the Philippines emphasized on the need for people particularly the baptized Catholic Christians to be mindful of the gravity of sins committed against the Creator. These includes the unabated killing of the millions of innocent unborn children around the world including in Catholic countries done in the name of human rights and womens rights. Other grievous sins like divorce, gay union, IVF, euthanasia, surrogacy among others were also discussed.

The speaker strongly challenged and remibded the attendees to do their individual tasks via the kingly, prophetic and priestly roles to help regain the banished “Culture of Life”.

The event ended with the praying of the ‘Rosary for Life’ and commitnent to be actively involved in the pro- God, pro-life and pro- family advocacies.
