Another big event, the Inter-Diocesan Healing Congress will take place in the central city of Cebu, Philippines on August 3, 2024. This is part of the monthly event which is jointly organized by the three combined groups under the direction of Dr. Rene Josef Bullecer. These are the Catholic Physicians Guild of the Philippines, the Human Life International Pilipinas and the National Council of the Laity of the Philippines with the inspiration from the International Federation of Catholic Medical Associations (FIAMC). 

The topics which will be discussed during the full whole day event includes; “The Sacrament of Healing” by Rev. Fr. Jerome Antogop. This will be followed by the talk of Dr. Rene Josef Bullecer on the topic, “The Difference Between Physical Illness and Spiritual Sickness”. Then on the topic, “Integral & Holistic Healing: Interplay Between Human Collaboration & God’s Grace” to be delivered by Rev. Fr. Agerio Pana and on the talk on “Healing & Reconciliation” by Bro. Amorito Laurente.

Hundreds of delegates from the different dioceses and archdioceses within the Visayas region are expected to come to take part in this very important event which will focus on healing and reconciliation amidst the growing influence of the spirit of darkness triggered by the rising tides of secularism. The organizers want to re-inculcate into the minds and hearts of the participants the sacraments of reconciliation and healing which are readily available in the Catholic Church thru the Sacraments of Confession, Holy Eucharist, the Anointing of the Sick and the power of deliverance and and exorcism.

While this event will focus on the members of the different diocesan healing ministries and among the para-medical professionals, all other interested parties are welcome  to join. The venue of this congress will be at the International Convention Center of Cebu.
