Over a thousand participants are expected to come and converge at the San Lorenzo Ruiz Diocesan Shrine Church in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur for the Divine Mercy Congress. This whole-day event will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

The main objective of this event is for the thousands of Filipino Divine Mercy devotees to be updated on the current threats against the faith, family and life. Likewise to provide global situationers for people to remain firm, strong and committed to their most cherished Catholic faith despite the massive entry of born againism in this predominantly Catholic nation. It is noteworthy that the majority of the people in the Philippines are still very eager and receptive to take part in religious gatherings.

There will be two main speakers. One, Bro Noe Dura, a former protestant pastor for over 10 years who converted to the faith. He will share his experience as an staunched anti-Catholic preacher to become a full-blooded defender of the faith and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The other main speaker is Dr. Rene Josef C. Bullecer, the current Vice President of the National Council of the Laity of the Philippines. He will speak on the topic, “The Urgency of the End Times Devotion to the Divine Mercy”. In here, Dr. Bullecer is expected to present all the current anti-Catholic propaganda around the world, the hidden agenda to depopulate the world  and the wonderful world of the advances of medical science in treating human illnesses with compassion.

This one-day event is initiated by the Diocesan Divine Mercy Crusaders on Agusan del Norte with the support from HLI Pilipinas, the National Council of the Laity of the Philippines. Also the inspiration to spread the truth in medicine came from the World Federation of Catholic Medical Associations or the FIAMC, which is based in Vatican City.
