On Saturday, April 27, 2024, hundreds of a mix crowd composed of para-medical professionals side-by-side with the lay leaders from the different church-mandated organizations will be converging for a conference on the topic, “My Church Is Catholic”,

This one-day event which will be held in Cebu City is organized by Catholic Physicians Guild of the Philippines together with the National Council of the Laity of the Philippines and the HLI Pilipinas with the special inspiration from our mother organization the FIAMC.Expected to be discussed by the speakers includes the history of the Catholic Church, the history of Christianity in the Philippines and the scriptural basis and biblical truth on why the Catholic Church which was founded by Jesus Christ in the year 33 is the one and only true church that can lead people to eternal life.

The main objective of this event is primarily for the Catholic faithful to re-discover their most cherished faith amidst the growing threats from the anti-Catholic forces which have gained ground in the Philippine shores. Based on the latest survey, of the 112 million inhabitants living in the 7,000 islands, 72% professed the Catholic faith, 6% are muslims, and 28% belonging to the different protestant denominations.

Due to the increasing surges of the born-again sects, there is an urgent need for the us Catholics to know more, live, and defend the faith, On the other hand, the local event organizers are calling the local church hierarchy to spend and offer extra efforts in the evangelization programs to awaken the un-church Catholics which comprised the majority.
