Everyone on the side of truth listens to me. -John18:38CMAA National ConferenceOctober 17-19th, Melbourne.View online version On June 21st, 2019 the Catholic Medical Association of Australia (CMAA), in accord with the Federation of International CMAs (FIAMC), was consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in a ceremony at St Roch’s Church, Glen Iris. This May, almost six years later, the CMAA will be consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in a ceremony during a Mass conducted in accord with FIAMC who will be holding a special event at Notre Dame Cathedral, Paris, on May 3rd. The Australian ceremony will take place on Saturday May 24th, the Feast Day of the Principal Patroness of Australia, Our Lady Help Of Christians. Details to follow. The CMA WA will hold their first White Mass at Infant Jesus Parish, Morley WA on Saturday May 17th. Tickets are available here. More information at their facebook page. The much anticipated FIAMC Bioethics 2025 Book has arrived. Edited and produced by Dr. José María Simón Castellví, former president of FIAMC, it includes a range of topics from many international CMAs. The Australian contribution is a chapter in defence of the ethics of ‘Voluntary Informed Consent’. He takes over the reins from Fr Paschal Corby who has recently relocated to Sydney.
