“Running to Our Mother”

Father Christopher Kubat, physician, priest and member of the Catholic Medical Association (USA) tells us how a miraculous intervention by Our Lady of Lourdes transformed him. His encounter at Lourdes sealed his commitment to leave his career as a successful urologist, in order to become, at age 42, a priest in the Roman Catholic Church.

Then, something miraculous happened. The old Chris Kubat died in the waters of Lourdes, and the new Chris Kubat emerged, full of new life – a new life in Jesus Christ. The grace instilled was electric.

Father Kubat urges us, in the current issue of the Bulletin of the International Medical Association of Lourdes:*

In 2016, the special year of mercy, I encourage you to run to the Blessed Virgin Mary, your mother. She will help you in your need, so that you too may obtain the special love and mercy from our infinitely merciful Father, who desires to bestow His Love and Mercy on you through his Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. (Who died on the cross, so that we who were dead in sin may live in the Holy Spirit.).
